Terrific 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath oceanfront condo with great views of the ocean. This beautifully redecorated villa is warm and inviting offering a tropical atmosphere. Beach access is just steps away. Swimming pool, laundry, fitness center, restaurant & grill on site.

***IMPORTANT NOTICE - DUE TO AN EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE ISSUE, THE POOL AT VILLAS BY THE SEA WILL BE CLOSED FOR REPAIRS BEGINNING MARCH 24, 2026, THROUGH APRIL 25, 2026. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and some personal amenity items. These items will not be replenished during your stay.
Villas by the Sea has 3 coin-operated laundry facilities accessible with your key-cards.

Jekyll Island nest for snow birds

"We loved this VBTS property, and were very comfortable for our 2 month stay. The location near Driftwood Beach and stunning ocean views from patio and balcony will lure us back, again. The property is very well stocked for comfort and cooking with excellent linens and kitchen accessories. The furnishings and beds are great for relaxing, napping and bedtime. As active seniors, we sincerely appreciated the opportunity to enjoy this place while the snow fell and the wind blew back home.

"Our 2nd time staying at this particular unit. We chose it because of the ocean view AND the downstairs bath is a major plus. We loved the patio chairs downstairs so much that we will be getting some like them! We were very comfortable here but a few things could be improved upon. One is the bath upstairs could use a new shower curtain. The rod is so low that the curtain touches the floor. Needs updating. Also I agree with another review that said extra blankets would be nice. And more towels for a weeks stay. A hand towel for the kitchen would be nice too. And a new frying pan that isn't all scratched up. The screen downstairs came off its track one very windy night. Not trying to be too picky because we absolutely love it. But just letting you know. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We love Jekyll!!

"Clean, good location, nice amenities on the property, very convenient downstairs half bath. It is evident that the owners care about having a nice place for guests. Higher grade furniture and nice art on the walls. A Keurig would have been convenient. The stove in the kitchen was nice. The fridge was nice as well. Bike rack just outside the door a few steps. So is the trash receptacle. The pool and Jekyll & Tides (restaurant) was a short walk away. The balconies on the units are a little narrow for very much enjoyment. Also, we were a bit disappointed that the steps down to the beach haven’t been fixed since the storm last September. Driftwood beach, however, was accessible by walking to a nearby path just north of the Villas by the Sea property.

Anniversary getaway

"Staff is friendly and very easy to work with. Our unit was beautiful and well decorated. Couch and bed were comfortable. And it was just a few steps from a short pier over the water. Loved having a half bath downstairs as many units do not have this. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Villa with Terrific Beach View

"Reason for 4 stars on general condition is because it still has 2 old, low toilets. I'm only 5'2 & they were low for me, others 6' sit knees to ears. Suggestions: more than one towel & washcloth per person(for 8 night stay). Also, an extra blanket in each bedroom for colder nights & at least one extra pillow. Property mgmt did provide extra blankets when requested.

Peaceful and Beautiful

"Lovely two bedroom condo with an ocean view. We've been to Jekyll Island twice now, staying in condos at Villas by the Sea both times. We love the ocean views and short walk to Driftwood beach. It's peaceful, without much disturbance from other guests. The condos are well kept and comfortable. Villa 184 is close to one of the boardwalks to the beach. There's a kitchen, big dining table and living room with a good amount of space. I watched the sunrise over the ocean every morning. A few minor improvements would be tissues and kitchen scissors in the condos.
