Nice house, but one weird thing...

"Overall we loved the house, great sun room, very comfortable. But the two bathrooms have a window in between. It's block glass, so no completely clear, but not frosted either. You can see if someone is in the other bathroom, if they're sitting on the toilet, getting in or out of the shower, etc. They need to add a curtain.

"We truly had a wonderful vacation experience at Island Time. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The fenced backyard was huge, safe and a perfect place for our dog. We loved the sunroom, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen and appliances all worked and everything we needed was provided. The only thing we would have liked to have had was a pool pass for our family.

"This is the first time we rented from Parker Kaufman. The 2nd day the air wasn't working, they had someone there that afternoon. In the middle of the week, one of the breakers blew. We didn't have access to the breaker box, they had someone out there in 30 minutes. Very responsive!House was great!

"In general, the house was great for us because we had two dogs, and the fenced yard worked very well. The house paint is showing some wear around the edges like on the kitchen cupboards and other woodwork in the house. The kitchen cupboards were fairly dirty inside. The major issue I had was with the master bed which was very old and much too soft and I ended up with a back problem. The king mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced immediately. The other mattresses seemed acceptable.

Home Away From Home

"This is my family's third experience at Island Time. The kids just love it, as there is an large fenced in backyard to run in and such a spacious sunroom. It's a quick walk to the beach, peaceful and quiet in the evenings, and has up-to-date appliances. We've become fond of this darling home and will be back!

2 week getaway

"We always enjoy our getaway to JI and appreciate the opportunity to bring our 2 mini goldendoodles. Island Time was the perfect size for us and the well groomed and fenced backyard was a major plus for the dogs. Our biggest downfall was the lack of privacy in either bathroom due to the glass block windows that divide the bathrooms. Another frustration was the refrigerator (a broken ice maker that stopped working the first day of our stay and was reported (finally the owners made the repair at the end of week 2). Nobody wants the hassle or expense of constantly buying ice bags. House does have kitchen supplies but sadly lacks a good frying pan. We found the home to be cluttered with faux plants and “stuff” throughout in addition to thick dust on the ceiling fans in every room. Sheets are provided but be forewarned-the pillows do not have pillow protectors (gross).

"We love the house, layout, plenty of space for everyone, kitchen is perfect being well stocked with everything that is needed. Wonderful screened porch. Sitting on front porch morning and evening listening to the birds, watching neighbourhood deer strolling by. Makes a most relaxing vacation.

"We had a great time at Island Time house. The owners clearly thought of everything and want their renters to enjoy their stay. We found the house and grounds to be clean and well cared for. There was plenty of space for our family and two dogs (that LOVED the fully fenced backyard to play in for the week.) The sunroom is absolutely amazing and we spent almost all of our time in it. This house is back from the beach a couple streets, but the walk is quick and there is great beach access! We are already looking forward to coming back to Island Time. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Wonderful Place!

"We had a wonderful time here. We would love to stay here on all future visits to Jekyll Island. It was almost as comfortable as being at home. The dog loved the big back yard and we all enjoyed the bright sunroom. We had the best time. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone. I did not want to go home. Cant wait to back!
