This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom Cottage is the perfect combination of peaceful beachside living. You enter this home through the kitchen, freshly equipped with stainless steel Kitchen Aid appliances and a bar top with seating for four. Off of the kitchen, you will find the large dining table and spacious living area, with easy access to the lower screened-in porch and patio with a fenced-in back yard. The lower screened-in porch houses two lovely rockers, and the patio has an outdoor dining table and gas grill. Also on the first floor, a master suite with a king-size bed and ensuite bath. Finishing off the first floor is a one-car garage, half bath, and laundry closet with a stacked washer and dryer. The second floor is home to two guest bedrooms, each with its own private bath and entrance to the upper screened-in porch, where you will find perfect lounging furniture. This Cottage includes 3 hairdryers, 3 adult bikes, a beach umbrella, 6 beach chairs, a beach wagon, and a rolling cooler. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and a community firepit.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three dune crossovers to the sandy area, always accessible for recreation. Main access is near the pool and clubhouse.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, and we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

Great Townhouse for a Vacation

"I was very impressed with the accomodations. I liked that each BR had its own private bath. The kitchen was fully stocked. And it was a pleasant surprise to find beach bikes in the garage. We really enjoyed our stay. I can truly say that the place exceeded my expectations.

Beautiful Town Home

"We could not recommend staying at "Garden Cottage 62" more! My husband and I booked a stay for ourselves + my parents and our 7.5 month old and it was perfect. My parents stayed in the primary suite downstairs which was wonderful, and we stayed in one of the bedrooms upstairs with our son in his pack'n play in the room next to ours. It was a very comfortable town home and is cozily decorated (loved the children's books in the tv cabinet in the main living room - we had forgotten to bring books for bedtime). We enjoyed the use of the back porch and had no issues with bugs outdoors. There were some fruit flies / drain flies inside but there was apple cider vinegar in the cabinet to put in covered dishes to help (very normal in homes that aren't inhabited all the time).

Honestly the community pool alone is worth the rental - we saw the hotel pools on a bike ride (no need to rent bikes, they were right in the garage!) and this pool was far superior. Any neighbors that we ran into were incredibly friendly as well. The tide was too high to walk along the beach each time we checked but the access is very close (this home is in a very prime location within the community). Parker Kaufman was also great with the emails before / during / right before leaving and provided detailed instructions for everything. An absolutely beautiful home that we could not recommend more!

Very clean and comfortable condo with bikes - would stay again

"I had a fantastic mid-March stay at this condo with my mother and 12 year old, which was both well-appointed and comfortable. The property was impeccably clean, spacious, and modern, offering a relaxing environment with thoughtful amenities. Highlights included the availability of bicycles and helmets, TVs in each bedroom, a screened porch and balcony for unwinding, and convenient USB outlets on the nightstands. The comfortable beds and high-quality bed and bath linens added to the overall sense of Coziness. Being so close to beach access made it easy to enjoy the surrounding beauty.

There are a few minor observations worth noting. For future guests, bug spray is recommended for the island, in general, but also for the porch and patio at the condo due to insects. No bugs were observed indoors and ZEVO devices were provided, however, the filters were all due for replacing. The toilet in the primary bathroom could use a little tightening, and the laundry setup was slightly tricky—the door opened into the stairs, and the washer and dryer doors opened opposite of each other.

These small details didn’t detract from the overall experience. I would gladly stay here again, and I highly recommend this condo for anyone seeking a relaxing and well-equipped getaway near the beach.
