Ocean Cottage 38... let the expansive ocean views carry you away… This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom oceanfront Cottage is perfect for relaxation and tranquility. Steps away from the community pool, beach access, and fire pit. As you walk up the front steps, there is a small front porch perfect for reading or relaxing. Through the front door, there is a beautiful open kitchen with stainless steel Bosch appliances, granite countertops, and a raised bar. This is a perfect area for gathering and preparing casual meals during your vacation. Enjoy the oceanfront views from the sunroom or the upstairs spacious porches no matter the season.
The kitchen is fully stocked, including both a standard and Keurig coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, mixer, and crock pot. There is also a large pantry and half bath right off of the kitchen. The kitchen opens to a dining area with a table seating 6 and a large open living room containing two full-size couches, occasional chairs, and a flat-screen television. Beyond the living room is a spacious sunroom, which is very unique to this cottage. Relax in the comfortable armchairs with a book or enjoy coffee at the table in the sunroom, taking in expansive views of the ocean. The master bedroom is also on the main floor, featuring views of the ocean through the double window. The master bedroom contains a king-sized bed and private bath with an oversized shower and closet. Upstairs you will find an oversized laundry room off the landing with a full-sized washer, dryer, and soaking sink. There are also two guest rooms, each with queen-sized beds, televisions, and ensuite bathrooms. Access the large ocean-facing upper balcony through either bedroom. There is also a gas grill on the oceanfront patio. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse and pool table, zero entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and a community fire pit.

Winter Monthly Rates are available upon request.

The unit has a spacious one-car garage and room for two additional cars in the driveway. - No trailers of any kind allowed.
This Cottage is the "Osprey" floor plan with a first-floor sunroom and sleeps six.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three dune crossovers to the sandy area, always accessible for recreation. Main access is near the pool and clubhouse.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, and we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

"Gorgeous views - sunsets and sunrises! The property was exactly as described - clean and welcoming and conveniently located close by the pool area. Beds were comfortable BUT the pillows were awful in 2 upstairs bedrooms. We actually ran to Target and bought pillows to use! I also thought all the "rules" were overdone - an email every day is a bit much - no getting on the grass, no towels over the outside rails and all the instructions on the trash. Would I go back - yep! But not an easy going place.

" Our experience was outstanding! Our cottage views were breathtaking, providing a serene haven. The accommodation far surpassed our expectations upon arrival. We appreciated the thoughtful provision of a notebook containing essential information about our stay, beach details, recommended dining establishments, and local activities. This was extremely helpful. We savored every moment and were impressed by the impeccable cleanliness maintained throughout the cottages, including the pool and clubhouse. Relaxing time at the beach!

"Very nice property. I really enjoyed my stay. I liked how each bedroom had a view of the ocean! However, we were very uncomfortable with each bedroom, when we arrived. In each bedroom, the beds had been sat on. It still had imprints on them where someone had been sitting on them. Also, it was communicated thoroughly on how to dispose of trash. However, there was only 1 trash bag given to us to use for 4 consecutive days. It would be better in the future to leave more trash bags to match the number of days present at the cottage.

"The first thing I noticed when we walked through the door of this cottage was the beautiful ocean view! Not only do you have an ocean view from every bedroom and the living area, but at night you can hear the waves crash against the rocks. So peaceful! We stayed during the 4th of July. While we were not able to see Jekyll Island's fireworks from our cottage, we were able to view all of St Simon's Island's fireworks from the second story balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

"The cottage was very nice. I really loved how every bedroom had the view of the ocean! However there were a couple of things that I thought could have been better. We were uncomfortable when we first arrived. We noticed that the beds had been sat on in each bedroom. An imprint was still on the bed spreads showing that someone had sat on them. In addition, the rules about the trash was very thorough. However, we were only given one trash bag for four days of stay. There should have been a trash bag per day. Lastly, the pictures on the website showed the sunroom as separate but it was combined. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

"We loved the home. The check-in process was extremely simple. The second story porch provided great views of the ocean. The community pool was very close to the home. The beach was close by, but was only available during low tide, but other beaches were just a short drive. We will definitely rent this home again!

"Unit 37 had a view that would knock your socks off. It was very clean, comfortable and the beds were great. It was very convenient to all of the amenities. The golf cart offered with the unit was top notch, it is the same cart offered by red bug moters that rented for $180 a day. Taken that into consideration, the unit was a deal.

"Fabulous ocean views from the upper deck! Easy access to community pool and over a walkway for easy access to water/beach. Be sure to check tide schedule. Great location on north part of island, close to Driftwood Beach. Very comfortable home!

"Enjoyed the stay. Rental was clean and ready for our arrival. Love having a view of the ocean from both levels. Though you can’t see the beach from either level due to the rocks in front of the cottages, the ocean view was lovely.
