Ocean Cottage 37 The ocean is calling - And you should answer! 6-SEATER Electric GEM Car with the rental. Conveniently located in the first oceanfront building south of the zero-entry pool, beach deck, fire pit, and amenities center. This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom Cottage will take your breath away. You enter this home through a spacious kitchen fully equipped with stainless steel Kitchen Aide appliances, a toaster, blender, both a standard and a Keurig coffee maker, and all other luxuries of home. Moving from the kitchen to the living area, you will find a bar top that seats four and a large kitchen table. The living room contains a beautiful granite fireplace, large smart TV, and an abundance of seating. Off the living room, you will find a quaint sitting area nestled on the oceanfront with a screened-in porch, comfy seating, a fireplace, and a TV. Off the living area is the spacious master bedroom with a king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom. Finishing off the first floor is a half bath at the foot of the stairs. You enter the second floor of this Cottage through a small reading area directly across from the full-size laundry room with custom cabinetry and a smart TV to help pass the time. The second-floor houses two guest rooms, each with private bathrooms, smart TV, access to the upper screened-in porch, and fabulous ocean views. The south bedroom has a queen size bed and the north bedroom has a twin over double bunk with twin size trundle (sleeps 4). This home boasts an oceanfront paver patio with a Weber gas grill. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool and fitness, beach deck, beach access and community firepit.
**Important:** To access the golf cart, complete the cart use agreement sent via email 10 days before arrival.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three dune crossovers to the sandy area, always accessible for recreation. Main access is near the pool and clubhouse.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, and we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

"Fantastic vacation! We loved the rental, everything was very nicely kept and made it easy and very comfortable. Plus the views! The amenities are great such as the golf cart, bikes, ping pong table, use of the fitness center and pool table.

"The condo was furnished very nicely!! Needed a couple lightbulbs replaced but we didn’t request it to be fixed while we were there (I’m sure they would have). It was so peaceful, clean, and we would stay there again. Thank you!!

"OMGOODNESS....P/K has always met my family get-a-ways with great homes...But, this one far exceeded our expectations! Such a comfortable, homey feel. Plenty of beds/baths. TVs for every room. Screened porches for perfect gathering places for family, coffee & perfect sunrises with ocean breezes. OH...The golf cart was an added bonus!! We can't wait for our next stay here!!! Highly recommend!

"This was a lovely home to stay for a girls weekend getaway. The screened in porches were fantastic to keep the bugs away and the unobstructed view was pure delight. The one challenge we had was that none of us lived locally (we all flew in from the Northeast) so we didn't have beach chairs to use or beach towels but we made the most of it despite those items. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway with a company that provides clear communication and direction.

"The unit is on the beach side and has great outdoor space! The neds are comfy and kitchen well equipped.
The third bedroom has bunk beds which was a negative since all of our people were adults. The golf cart and bikes were such a bonus!!! This place was so great.

"Beautiful beach home, with great furnishings, oceanfront and close to the pool. We loved the porch swing on the upper balcony. The porches are both screened in to keep you safe from the bugs.

"We stayed at the Cottages last year around this same time and had a wonderful time. The cottage last year was not on the water so this year we rented one on the water so we could look out at the waves and watch the ships pass by. We enjoyed out time and our 3 night stay went by quickly. The cottage is decorated nicely...we had no complaints about the furnishings.

I would like to mention thst we did have a major knat problem. Mostly on our 2nd full day there. The problem is mentioned in the book that comes with each cottage. When it comes to the knat problem, it says what to use to rid them....apple cider vinegar, water and dish soap. As a would be nice if the homeowner or management company would make sure the cottages have apple cider on hand for this purpose. They were very annoying as we spent a lot of time swatting at them to keep them off our food. Another issue was the garbage disposal was clogged. It was like that when we checked in but didn't discover the problem until Saturday night which was the first time we cooked in and needed to use it. We found a plunger in the laundry room but because the drain line was so tightly clogged, we were unsuccessful at clearing the clog. This clog had to be there for a while because it was clogged so bad that we couldn't push down hard enough for the plunger to work properly. We ended up leaving it clogged and left a note for the cleaning crew letting them know it was clogged. We checked out on Sunday so there was no one we could have called on the weekend.

These are minor, fixable issues that can happen. Just a minor issue that needs to be addressed. Other than that...we enjoyed ourselves. We will be back again. A big thank you to the management team as they were most helpful with our reservation answering questions we had.

"We had a wonderful family get-together on Jekyll Island. It was a revisit for my son and I, as we had vacationed there in the 70's, when he was 10 yrs old. I was very pleased to see that the historical district, and canopy areas have remained in pristine shape, but the Island has also moved into into the 2020's at the same time.
Now, about our home....we were more than pleased with our beautiful accommodations.
The location was perfect, and the home was so welcoming, and had everything and more, that we could have ever needed.
We want to thank you for sharing your sweet home with us.....

"This has ruined us for all other vacations properties. It was perfect. Everything was spotless and in good working order (with the exception of the bikes maybe, but that was just a bonus). The location was amazing - steps to the pool and beach. We loved the screened porches and the use of the golf buggy. Beds were comfortable, towels were a good size, kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay again!

"This was an amazing cottage. It was very well kept and beautifully decorated. The upstairs porches were screened in so you weren't bothered by the bugs at night. The ocean view was beautiful and the pool access was steps away from the cottage. Parker-Kaufman personnel were very helpful with any questions we had.

"Cottage 37 provided us with an outstanding vacation experience. The view from the rear of the house was breathtaking, as it was just a few feet away from the ocean, offering an unobstructed view. The house was clean and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The community pool, center, and workout room were conveniently located just a few steps away from the house. Overall, the location was perfect! Our communication with the reality group was professional, timely, and helpful. I highly recommend this cottage without any reservations.
