Cottage 09 is located in The Cottages at Jekyll Island community, Jekyll's premier oceanfront residential vacation spot. The Cottages at Jekyll Island is located north island and is a short distance from Driftwood Beach, Horton Pond, and the fishing pier. Bike Trails, 63 holes of golf, a tennis center, horseback riding, the Georgia Sea Turtle Center, the Landmark Historic District, and the Beach Shopping Village are just some of the amenities Jekyll Island has to offer.

The Cottage's south dune access is at your backdoor and fabulous ocean views are too! Cottage 09 is a two-story townhome-style cottage and has the largest heated square footage of any of the rental cottages. The Osprey floor plan includes 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths with master (King) on the first floor and 2 bedrooms, each with Queen Beds and private baths on the second floor. Open kitchen equipped with stainless appliances, island, and breakfast bar. Large dining and expanded living area (sofa bed) open to the paver patio with gas grill. Full laundry on the second floor. Both second-level bedrooms open to a large balcony with seating for 6. This is the perfect spot to enjoy the tranquil ocean views and soft ocean breeze. This cottage includes 3 adult bikes, a 6-passenger golf cart, and a sea kayak. There is also a Tesla EV outlet located in the single-car garage. In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island million-dollar oceanfront amenities, which include Clubhouse with Billiard Table, Fitness Room, zero entry pool, beach deck, beach access, and a community fire pit. Guests staying in Cottage 09 receive a 50% discount on food and beverages at McGarvey's Wee Pub located in Jekyll Island's Beach Village.

BEACH ACCESS AT THE COTTAGES
Overview: The Cottages beach is about 2,000 feet long, featuring a dune area and seawall.
Access Points: There are three dune crossovers to the sandy area, always accessible for recreation. Main access is near the pool and clubhouse.
Tide Information: At high tide, water reaches the seawall, changing every six hours. Check a tide chart to plan your beach time.
Nearby Facilities: Oceanview Beach Park, about 2 miles south past the Holiday Inn, offers all-day ocean access. Explore all Jekyll Island beaches on their website.
Important Note: Storms may affect beach crossover access, and we cannot guarantee beach access at all times.

Awesome place to enjoy Jekyll Island

"The cottage was great and had everything needed for our two week stay through Christmas and New Year. From the spacious rooms with open layout and high ceilings we felt like we were in a large home. The porch couch swing was great for morning coffee and catching some midday rays while reading. With just a few steps away from the path to the beach, we were able to catch every morning sunrise and several mornings with dolphins going Would agree with another review about the cart battery not lasting long enough to go more than one trip and back and would rent one if I do again but not enough to change my rating as it was included. The bikes made the trips to driftwood beach a breeze. The Cottages community is very well maintained as was the cottage. The hosts were very responsive. I would highly recommend this cottage for anyone considering to make their visit to one of the most beautiful islands in the isles an unforgettable memory.

"Overall the stay was great. Our only hiccup was the dryer for laundry was not working. We had to travel back with a full load of clothes that wouldn’t dry due to the dryer heat elements being out. I suggest running a test of all appliances before renting. Again we would stay again and have many times in these wonderful cottages.

Beautiful Townhome

"This is a beautiful townhome in a beautiful area. I would say that the floors could have been cleaner. I found a vacuum upstairs and was able to vacuum.The home also has quite a bit of wear and tear. There were stains on the ceiling due to an old leak from upstairs. You can tell the home has been used a lot. The golf cart battery did not hold a charge so we were unable to go on a long trip. We had a great time, but with a $350 cleaning fee, I expected better.

"We had a great stay. The house was as advertised a decade t was clean and the check had n process was easy and when we had a question it was answered promptly. Overall a great experience. There were no cleaning supplies in the house or we would have cleaned up a little before we left. High marks from r both the property and management!

"Great place to stay while visiting friends on Jekyll Island. Especially enjoyed the 2nd story porch. Great place to read, nap, visit with friends, listen to the birds and enjoy the view of the ocean.
