Four Courses, One Island

The Jekyll Island Golf Club is a great choice whether you’re a seasoned golfer or it’s your first time on the course. The golf club has a rich history dating all the way back to 1898 World-acclaimed designers such as Joe Lee, Donald Ross, and Walter Travis have left their marks on Jekyll Island. Each of the club’s four courses is unique and is surrounded by some of the most gorgeous nature of Jekyll Island. Explore all 63 holes for a challenging and fun day of golf!

Three of the courses at the Jekyll Island Golf Club are 18-hole courses: Indian Mound, Pine Lakes, and Oleander. Indian Mound is the shortest course, but there are plenty of challenges to be found. This is a par-72 course designed by Joe Lee, where you’ll find over 6,000 acres of gorgeous woodlands. On the other hand, Pine Lakes puts both younger players and adults on even playing ground. This course is known as the island’s family-oriented course, designed by Clyde Johnson and taking advantage of family-friendly tee boxes so the whole group can join in. Finally, Oleander is the most distinct of the three 18-hole courses. Its tight design is credited to Dick Wilson, and you’ll find short grasses and ocean breezes that present a challenge.

The final course, Great Dunes, is the only 9-hole course at the club. Designed by Walter “Old Man” Travis, this course has a variety of difficult and simple holes for an interesting and exciting game for all. This is the perfect option if you’re looking for a shorter game to enjoy.

Visit the Pro Shop

If you’re on one of the 18-hole courses, visit the Jekyll Island Golf Pro Shop in the clubhouse. It was newly created in 2014 to feature the best equipment to help you improve your game. You’ll find everything you need from gloves to clubs, as well as apparel and club fittings by appointment. They are open daily from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m., so no matter when you tee off, you’ll be able to find what you need.
