The Best in the Southeast

Shrimp and grits are a Southern staple, so it makes perfect sense that there would be a whole festival dedicated to the dish right in the heart of Georgia! This coastal festival has been voted the Best Festival in the Southeast, and for good reason! The whole family will love coming out to enjoy everything this three-day festival has to offer. Taste some of the best seafood in the South, hear great music from local artists, pick up a unique souvenir to bring home, and spend the weekend having fun with the people you love.

Food, Music, and More

At the Shrimp and Grits Festival, you’ll find live music, great crafts, and of course, incredible food! The main stage of the festival will welcome live artists every evening, giving guests a taste of the local music scene. Come out to experience acts like Free Spirit Orchestra, Souls of Joy, Jimmy Beats, and more. You’ll also find music on the Riverfront Lawn Stage near the restaurants, so you can continue to jam as you eat! Head to the Artists Market for music on the Skeet House Stage, or stroll down to the Craft Brew Fest Entertainment Stage for even more local acts.

With three days of festivities, there is something for everyone around each corner. The VIP Lounge gives you access to an elevated tent, catering, and open bar, and be sure to check out the Craft Brew Fest for some of the best local beers. Little ones will love the Kid Zone, where you can check out some fun on stilts, watch a team of dogs play soccer, take part in an art class, or watch up-and-coming ventriloquist Cole Tucker! You can also stop by the Escape Room, take an RV tour at Go RVing, and venture on a dolphin cruise from the Jekyll Wharf.
